Requirements for Cosmetology and Esthetics School

Eric Fisher Academy does not discriminate in its employment, admission, instruction, or graduation policies on the basis of age, race, color, creed, religion, sex, financial status, or area of ethnic origin or residence. The applicant is encouraged to include their support system (parents, spouse, etc.) in the interview process.

The school requires that the below is true of each student enrolling in the cosmetology or esthetics program:

  • Has graduated from high school OR successfully completed the EQUIVALENT of 12th grade
  • Is at least 17 years of age as evidenced through a government-issued photo I.D.
  • Has completed the Admissions and Enrollment steps as outlined below

Admissions & Enrollment Steps

(1) Visit the Eric Fisher Academy Campus
  • Call or text (316) 440-4782 to schedule your visit with our Admissions Team
  • Tour the school
  • Meet with Financial Aid to create your Education Financial Plan
  • Receive information on how to enroll
(2) Apply for Financial Aid

The Eric Fisher Academy Office of Financial Aid assists students and prospective students through financial aid services and guidance in obtaining grants, esthetics or cosmetology scholarships, veteran benefits and loans.

(3) Reserve Your Spot

After you receive your Acceptance Letter, reserve your spot in the class of your choice by paying your Application Fee and filling out the Enrollment Information Form.

(4) Prepare for Enrollment

Do your Admissions homework (our Admissions Team will guide you through this):

  • Letter of Recommendation
  • High School or GED Transcript
  • Letter of Intent
  • Photograph
(5) Enroll

Once your Education Financial Plan is finalized, schedule your enrollment.

Does Eric Fisher Academy accept international students?

Eric Fisher Academy is approved to enroll international students. Eric Fisher Academy is authorized to issue I-20 documentation for M-1 Visas for students who enroll. The I-20 document is only valid for an M-1 Visa that would allow the student to study at Eric Fisher Academy for a specific period of time.
