At Eric Fisher Academy, there are some necessities before you can officially be admitted into our cosmetology school.
Basic Requirements for Our Cosmetology School
There are three basic must-haves before you can officially begin taking cosmetology classes at Eric Fisher Academy. First, a student must have graduated from high school or successfully completed the equivalent of 12th grade. Second, the student must be at least 17 years of age as evidenced through a government-issued photo I.D. Finally, the student must have completed the admissions and enrollment requirements. These requirements are to ensure you’re set up for success as you begin your cosmetology training.

1: Visit Our Cosmetology School Campus
A visit to Eric Fisher Academy’s campus is the first step in your application process. During this visit you take a tour of the cosmetology school.
When you visit our cosmetology campus, you’ll get a real feel for the environment and where you could potentially start your career. You’ll get to take a peek at our student salon, student spa, classrooms, our lounge, and our photography and video studio! On the tour you’ll also learn about the rest of the enrollment process and next steps.
2: Apply for Financial Aid at Our Cosmetology School
We understand affordable tuition is a big element in a student’s ability to begin an educational program. Cosmetology school is an investment in your future to get the education you need to start your career. At Eric Fisher Academy, we break down our tuition and fees to give students a good idea of what their overall financial investment will be. This includes:
- Tuition: $17,025 – just $11 per instructional hour
- Application Fee: $100
- Student Career Kit: $3,795
Our Office of Financial Aid assists students and prospective students through financial aid services and guidance in obtaining grants, scholarships, veteran benefits, and loans. Financial aid is available to those who qualify. If you decide to join our cosmetology school, you’ll have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the Financial Aid department to create an individualized financial plan to help you pay for your education.
3: Reserve Your Spot in Our Cosmetology School
At this point in the process, as long as you have met all the prerequisites for enrollment, you would receive your acceptance letter. You can then reserve your spot in the class of your choice! This requires you to pay the application fee and fill out the enrollment information form. Talk to our friendly admissions team to learn more.
4: Prepare for Enrollment in Cosmetology School
Once you’re ready to begin preparing for enrollment, our admissions team will help guide you through the rest of the registration process. These steps include providing a credible letter of recommendation as part of your application. You will also need your high school or GED transcript as proof of your education.
For our cosmetology school, students complete a letter of intent that explains why they’re choosing Eric Fisher Academy for their cosmetology training. Lastly, you must include a photograph of yourself to complete the application.
